Thailand, 2025: Rohan Shah has brought home two international medals, and the nation is beaming with pride. Rohan won a Gold Medal and Silver Medal at the 12th World Strengthlifting & Incline Benchpress Championship 2025 (2.0) in Thailand. He competed against the highest caliber of athletes in one of the most prestigious competitions worldwide based on pure strength, discipline, and spirit.

He lifted 210 kgs in Strengthlifting and 62.5 kgs in the Two-Hand Curl, a total of 272.5 kg. Competing against the world's best Strengthlifters, his unrivaled spirit awarded him not only one but two places on the podium. Competing at such a level is tough; he truly exemplifies that anything is possible with enough passion and determination.

Dream to Reality

Rohan has been training for this achievement for years. His annual training schedule highlights the dedication and fervent drive to accomplishment. He trains twice a day for four hours daily (which are his two sessions). Rohan has taken no holidays, NO REST DAYS, for an entire year leading to this competition.

In addition to the insane weight above, Rohan trains for perfect technique and execution. Every single lift is trained; every single training day, he approaches like he competes. This discipline has earned him the respect of everyone in India as one of the strongest and a revered Strengthlifter.

Goals Beyond International Medals

What does Rohan plan to do next?

World record breaker. Rohan believes that with every accomplishment, there always exists another mountain to climb. Rohan's lifts have him positioned with the top three in the world already, and with the potential of growth that Rohan has shown up until now, the world record is all but his at this point.

India's Pride on the World Stage. Rohan's victory is not only for him, but for India on the strengthlifting world stage. He shows all young superstars, however, that while talent can get you in the door, it's discipline and hard work that will keep it open.

The 12th World Strengthlifting & Incline Benchpress Championship 2025 was held in Thailand, where India's strongest contenders competed against many other countries' strongest participants. To be able to compete on such a level takes immense strength, balance, endurance, and mental gain, everything Rohan displayed after every lift.

Role Model for Young Lifters. When dedicated players like Rohan become international medal winners, that proves that success comes to those who will never give up. The country will rally behind Rohan as he forges ahead on his path to achieving a world record.
